New Ford F-150 Commercials Debut this NFL Season

NORWALK, OH – Ford has released three new F-150 commercials that will air throughout this 2015 NFL season. Each commercial features a theme that showcases the truck being the toughest, smartest, and safest F-150 ever.

Here’s the lineup of commercials:

• "Wake-Up Call” – This spot is all about telling customers the best features and innovations on the new F-150. You’ll hear the terms "high-strength military grade aluminum alloy body" and "highest gas millage" dropped with emphasis. Those are just two of the benefits you’re getting out of this truck though.

• “Battle-Tested” – In this ad Ford reveals that the F-150 “pulled a 5-star rating on all sides for all cab configurations.” It's a great play on words as the truck actually tows five huge 8-foot metal stars that were crafted specifically for the commercial. The F-150 is the only full-size, light-duty truck to receive the highest ranking from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. 

• “Brainstorm” – This last bit shows the innovation and ingenuity of the engineers that worked on the F-150. One of their latest developments is the Pro Trailer Backup Assistant. This design makes backing up a trailer as simple as turning a doorknob.

Each of these commercials ends with the bold statement, “This is the new Ford F-150 and every other truck is history.” Competitors are going to have a rough time beating that with the innovations and achievements this truck features.

The best part about each of the new F-150 commercials is that they are all filmed using live-action shots with stop-motion animation. This is different than the normal computer-generated commercials we often see today. You get a more rugged and real feel of the truck's ability to perform.

The F-series by Ford has been the best-selling truck for 38 consecutive years now and the best-selling vehicle for 33 years. Ford is proud to be at the top of the list for its trucks and keeps delivering with this new F-150.

Ford GT Power Figures Leaked

NOWALK, OH - Ford Motor Co. has been pretty liberal in terms of its information about the all-new Ford GT, but recently Ford GT power figures were leaked by the racing video game Forza Motorsport 6. In the grand scheme of things, it seems like a pretty comical oversight by those involved, and one does wonder if it was actually an unintentional leak by Ford.

It was revealed by Motor Authority that if the Ford GT is selected in the game, you’re presented with a spec sheet that seemingly spills all the beans: 630 horses, 539 lb-ft of torque, and a 2890-pound curb weight with a 43/57 front-rear distribution. Now, this could be just speculation on Forza's end, or it could be a subtly push by Ford to "leak" the GT's impressive stats.

It is worth mentioning however that Ford has not given any official statement and as real an exciting video games feel, they are still just VIDEO games and these numbers are just digital approximations. On the other hand the automotive company and Forza have been working very closely on this new edition of the highly anticipated racing game, and GT has been the face of the game since it was first unveiled in Detroit earlier this year.
