Ford's 2015 North American Car & Truck of the Year Nominations

NORWALK, Ohio - Ford Motor Company has made their mark within the car and truck/utility/crossover vehicle segments this year, earning several 2015 North American Car and Truck of the Year Nominations.  

A jury of 60, ten more jurors than last year, will be taking 28 candidates within the car category and 29 vehicles within the truck/utility/crossover segment into consideration before naming the winner. The reason for expanding the jury is due to the industry's growth within important publications in print, online and broadcast journalism. 

Ford Motor Company could potentially take both of the 2015 titles with their numerous 2015 North American Car and Truck of the Year nominations. The following Ford vehicles are being considered: the Ford Mustang, Edge, Expedition, F-150, F-Series HD, Transit Connect, the Lincoln MKC and Navigator. 

This fall, the jurors will drive all of the nominees, have an initial round of voting and create the "short list". Another assessment period and vote will take place shortly after, resulting in three finalists for each category. The final round of voting will take place and the winners will be announced at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
