Ford Edge takes home the highest government safety award via the National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The NHTSA awarded the '15 Edge with a
five-star Overall Vehicle Score in its New Car Assessment Program, the highest
award available. A showcase of Ford innovation, the new Edge sets precedent for
Ford utility vehicles moving forward.
The new 2015 Ford Edge comes loaded with new technologies
and is completely reengineered from the ground up, offering three engine
options, two of which are brand new. These two new engine options were made
available for a completely enhanced driving performance, while other upgrades
include a slew of safety and driver-assist technologies that help with the
driving task.
