2015 Expedition is More Tech Savvy, Stylish and Capable Than Ever

NORWALK, Ohio - Get ready to hit the road in the most powerful and fuel-efficient model of its kind. The 2015 Expedition is more tech savvy, stylish and capable than ever before; bringing full-size utility vehicle customers all of the options and features that they have been asking for! Not only does the all-new Expedition have a refreshed look, it also contains a 3-5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, a quieter cabin and dozens of driver-assist features that will keep you safe out on the road.

Like we said, the all-new Expedition is bringing full-size utility vehicle customers exactly what they have been searching for: space, performance, comfort and capability. Two versions of the 2015 Expedition will be available later this year, both with three rows of seating. One version will have a 119-inch wheelbase and 108.3 cubic feet of cargo space while the other will be an extended 131 inch wheelbase option with 130.8 cubic feet of cargo space. 

Both versions of the Expedition will be fully equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine and SelectShift automatic transmission. The full-size utility vehicle produces 365 horsepower, 420 lb.-ft. of torque and has the best-in-class towing of up to 9,200 pounds!  Customers will experience a whole new level of performance and control in the 2015 Expedition. It is the very first Ford nameplate to offer a controlled damping suspension, which allows for drivers to choose between three driving modes: comfort, normal and sport.

The 2015 Expedition is more tech savvy, stylish and capable than ever with its new interior trim options and technology enhancements. Customers can now enjoy SYNC with MyFord Touch and driver-assist features like BLIS with cross traffic alert. Drivers will also notice that inside of the 2015 Expedition is significantly more quiet than other models. Ford improved the seals on the body as well as added some sound dampening materials to eliminate unwanted road and engine noise.
