Ford's 2015 Edge Sport will now offer customers more power and performance that has been perfectly integrated with the vehicle's sporty new look.
The 2015 Ford Edge Sport has been completely reengineered from top to bottom. A major contributor to Ford's 2015 Edge Sport offering more power and performance is the newly added 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine. This baby is providing drivers with 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft of torque; a nice increase from the performance level of the 2014 model Edge Sport. Along with a new engine, the 2015 Edge Sport contains an upgraded suspension with front and rear antiroll bars that are 15 percent stiffer than the base model. The Edge also features improved damping which gives the vehicle improved road-handling capability making for better control and sharper steering.
A new level of performance isn't the only thing that will set the 2015 Edge Sport apart from other utility vehicles out on the road. The 2015 Edge Sport has a more athletic and dominant shape than ever before and is complemented by standard LED taillamps and LED signature lighting. Inside of the Edge Sport are leather-trimmed sport seats with perforated sided inserts, ambient lighting, and metal-plated accents. The 2015 Edge Sport will also be available in three new colors - Electric Spice, Bronze Fire Metallic, and Magnetic. The 2015 Ford Edge Sport will go on sale this spring and will be offered in a new range-topping Titanium series, as well as the SE model and SEL series.
