NORWALK,
Ohio – It has been six years since the Ford Taurus last got a substantial
update, and with other auto companies that provide mid-size sedans catching up
and showing off their new iterations, it looks like Ford does indeed have some
plans to rejuvenate the new Taurus.
According
to the Dearborn, MI based automaker; Ford
will debut the Ford Taurus at the Shanghai Auto Show, which runs from April
20 through the 29th. The timing of the new Taurus reveal is insanely
significant, as the Taurus is one of the several vehicles that Ford plans to
market mainly to Chinese consumers by the end of the year. The last time the
Taurus got redesigned was in 2013, and the current model is offered with
3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 288 HP as the base engine.
Ford will debut the new Ford Taurus at
the Shanghai Auto Show, and Ford promises that the newly
updated sedan will bring “sophisticated design, roomy space, and advanced
technology”. The automaker also stated that the Taurus will benefit from Ford’s
global expertise in vehicle design and development and will incorporate advance
new technologies.
