NORWALK, Ohio - Currently, residual value is the biggest driver of a vehicle's cost of ownership, and those vehicles with a good retained value usually do well in regards to sales. This is why the
2015 Ford Transit Connect and F-350 Super Duty take home the 2015 Retained Value Awards from Edmunds.com this year. These awards from Edmunds.com recognize vehicles that have the highest projected residual values after five years based on their average True Market Value price when sold new.
The 2015 F-350 Super Duty received the Edmunds.com 2015 Best Retained Value Heavy Duty Truck Award while the 2015 Ford Transit Connect took the Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Commercial Van Award. With high retained valued models like these, Ford Motor Co. is placing it's stamp on being a dependable car brand, which is especially important to the younger generation of car buyers. Edmunds.com calculated that the average retained value after five years of ownership for the Transit Connect at 47% and 58.5% for the F-350 Super Duty, which is tested by evaluating the vehicles for the 2015 model year and had sales in February of 2015 that were at least 25% of the average unit sales for the model's market segment.

2015 Ford Transit Connect and F-350 Super Duty take home 2015 Retained Value Awards from Edmunds.com, however, this is not the only award recently given to the
