Ford Launches Its New Ford Sync 3 Connectivity System

Ford Launches Its New Ford Sync 3 Connectivity System

NORWALK, Ohio – This summer, Ford launches its new Ford Sync 3 connectivity system in the 2016 Ford Escape and Fiesta! As Ford Motor Company's all-new communications and entertainment system, Sync 3 includes features like faster performance, conversational voice recognition, intuitive smartphone-like touch screen and easier-to-understand graphical interface.

Ford launches its new Ford Sync 3 connectivity system in North America with the 2016 Ford Escape and Ford Fiesta. Both vehicles provide a safer way for Ford customers to connect their smartphones while keeping their eyes on the road and both hands on the steering wheel. Great features include the integration of AppLink for a simpler way to control smartphone apps, Siri Eyes-Free capability for iPhone users, software updates via Wi-Fi and enhanced 911 Assist for subscription-free emergency calling in the event of a severe car accident.

This new technology announcement from Ford comes at a time when almost every automaker is upgrading its smartphone connectivity capabilities, stemming from the need for a safer and less distracting driving environment. With the debut of SYNC 3 for the 2016 Escape and Fiesta, Ford is launching its newest and greatest in-car connectivity technology as an option in one of its highest-volume vehicles, the Escape, and its most affordable care ever, the Fiesta.

If you would like to take either the 2015 Escape or Fiesta out for a test drive, stop by! The 2016 models featured in this blog will roll into dealerships later this summer.
