The 2017 F-150 Ford Raptor Has Just Been Announced As 25% Faster Than Its Previous Model

NORWALK, OH - Thanks to a series of grueling tests through the American Southwest, the 2017 F-150 Ford Raptor has just been announced as 25% faster than its previous model. The new 2017 model is Ford Motor Company's toughest, smartest, most capable off-road truck ever created, and the testing recently done was a tough 1,000-mile long experience for the new truck.

This 1,000-mile test trail was set up to parallel the infamous Baja race course in Mexico, and the route featured multiple geographical obstacles including a tabletop jump at the end of each lap that consisted of a steep ramp up to a two-foot plateau , then a step off back to level ground. The course was purposefully difficult and the F-150 Raptor had to drive over a wide range of surfaces that included fast sandy washes, deep-rutted silt beds, steep climbs in deep sand and slow, meticulous crawls through tight trenches.

Even though the 2017 F-150 Ford raptor has just been announced as 25% faster than its previous model, these tests pushed the new Raptor harder in a few days than it will be pushed over the lifetime of a typical vehicle. This is the case of all Built Ford Tough trucks, and thus ensures that no matter where you take it, the 2015 F-150 Raptor is ready for whatever you encounter!
